- Background
Association for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (AEPD) is a local non-profit organization in Quang Binh provice, formerly Survivor Corps/Landmine Survivors Network (SC/LSN). AEPD’s work is aimed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities (PWDs) through economic and social empowerment towards an inclusive, barrier-free society where PWDs can fulfill their potential, enjoy equal opportunities and contribute productively to their communities.
Funded by Irish Aid under “Vietnam Civil Society Facility,” AEPD is implementing the project "Enhancing quality of life for persons with disabilities through empowerment of CSO in mobilizing resources and implementing comprehensive community based rehabilitation (CBR) programs in Quang Binh province". One of the main objectives of the project is to promote the best supporting practices for persons with disabilities in the province and neighboring regions, including regional countries.
In order to achieve the above stated objective, AEPD is seeking a consultant to assess effectiveness and positive impacts of AEPD's programs, activities as well as successful models in supporting the persons with disability through the feedbacks of beneficiaries, donors, local authorities over the past five years, to document as guidelines to be replicated and applied by other projects and organizations in and outside of Quang Binh province.
- Scopes of work
The consultancy assignment is to do conduct in-depth assessment on the practices implemented in Quang Binh in supporting for persons with disabilities by AEPD over the past 5 years. Specifically, the consultancy assignment would achieve the following objectives:
- The consultation fee will be paid based on the experiences of the Consultation. The detailed fee will be defined after discussions between AEPD and the Consultant.
